Stained Glass Copper Foiling Taster Days
Learn how to make stained glass window hangings and decorations using the copper foiled method. This is the method used to make Tiffany lamps and involves joining pieces of glass together with copper foil tape which has been burnished to the glass pieces.
This course is a taster day running from 10am until 4pm and is suitable for those with little or no experience. All tools and materials are provided. The workshops are limited in size to ensure that you get the attention you need to master this beautiful craft. I am based at the picturesque Parndon Mill, a surprising little countryside oasis just 15 minutes walk from Harlow Station. Harlow, Essex.
You will learn glass selection, cutting and shaping glass and how to copper foil and solder the glass together to make a design of your choosing. I have lots of designs available for you to choose from as well as some absolutely lovely glass!
If you would like to give the gift of a Taster Day, a print-at-home, email or physical voucher is available. Please mention when booking.
