Stained glass is an ancient craft and I love the challenge of creating something contemporary with a technique that was around in the seventh century! I also use fusing, glass engraving and glass painting in my work. I think glass painting has many similarities with pencil drawing. It is a challenging technique and very technical – you can never rest on your laurels and there is always something new to learn.
